Carol Wright’s love for horses began when she was born, which turned into her competing in her first show at two-years-old. Throughout her years, her passion for horses grew and she took every opportunity to ride.
At 17, Carol became an assistant trainer and fully immersed herself in the equestrian life after graduating. While she worked for a variety of different barns, she acquired more and more knowledge which proved to lead her to success in and out of the ring.
To mark some of her greatest riding achievements includes competing in the AIG Million Dollar Grand Prix, the Queen Elizabeth Cup in Spruce Meadows, and multiple World Cup Qualifiers, winning the World Cup qualifier in 1991.
Incredibly, she has been named NorCal Jumper Rider of the Year multiple times and has even successfully jumped 2 meters.
On top of riding, she enjoys sharing all her knowledge and talents with riders of all levels.
Taking students to many hunter and jumper championships and medal finals, she teaches her clients with the goal of improving not only riding but also their horsemanship.
Currently, Carol is training out of Pacific Equestrian Center in Wilton, California and shows primarily in the West Coast circuit. She looks forward to any future opportunities to ride and train.
